The article focuses on China and the country’s history. Topics discussed include history of Communist Party of China (CCP), totalitarianism in Germany and nationalism. Further, other topics including national socialism, Chinese philosopher Karl Jaspers and Mao’s revolution are also discussed. In addition, topics which includes youth movement in the country Red Guards, Chinese premier Xi Jinping and book “In Praise of Forgetting: Historical Memory and Its Ironies” by David Rieff are also discussed.
