Abstract
April 5, 2015, marked the sixth anniversary of Barack Obama’s speech to the citizens of Prague, in which he highlighted “America’s commitment to seek the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons.”1 President Obama clearly took office hoping to be transformative on reducing nuclear arms. He is falling short, however, on meeting the lofty goals that he laid down at the outset of his presidency.
