Brooks, Stephen G., and William C. Wohlforth

Abstract
In this article, Brooks and Wohlforth examine Samuel Huntington’s “unipolarity” argument, which explains that uni-polarity gives way to “uni-multipolarity”, which in turn become unambiguously multipolar. The article also examines the position of the U.S. in the international community and applies Huntington’s argument to the current state of international affairs.
